Account Coordinator

Location: Columbus, OH

 

 

The Account Coordinator’s responsibilities are to help with any project-related task – no matter how big or small – with a “can do” attitude

Reporting to the Director of Client Growth, the Account Coordinator is responsible for managing many projects for one or multiple brands, as well as supporting the New Business and Marketing teams. The Account Coordinator’s responsibilities are to help with any project-related task – no matter how big or small – with a “can do” attitude. A successful candidate will also be self-motivated to learn how to work in Content Management Systems and inquisitive about digital marketing best practices and principles. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules and oversee small projects, such as maintenance related tasks and emails
  • Allocates project resources
  • Enter copy and images in Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Traffics creative assets to the appropriate people at the right times
  • Ensures effective QA on projects and tasks, making sure we are delivering on client's expectations
  • Helps managers prep for larger meetings
  • Able to run smaller, tactical meetings when required
  • Effectively communicate meeting notes, action items, responsible parties, etc. following conference calls and meetings
  • Assists in coordinating and organizing the agency’s marketing and new business programs (web, social, events, blog posts, new biz briefs, etc.)
  • Able to work independently
  • Can balance the demands of a variety of clients and/or projects
  • Has excellent attention to project detail

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of experience on small to medium size marketing projects within an agency, department or college environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information in verbal, written or visual form to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to balance the demands of a variety of requests and readily readjust priorities in response to pressing and changing deadlines
  • Deals effectively with others in both favorable and unfavorable situations regardless of status of position
  • Ability to work collaboratively in creative and technical environments while keeping projects on schedule
  • Ability to tailor communications approach based on the situation  
  • Must possess excellent decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong effective problem-solving skills
  • Experience with and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working with a CMS and photo editing software is a plus
